Good afternoon Jemez Valley families,
To assist our students during the 1st quarter of remote learning, students will be assigned an iPad for grades Pre-K to 2nd and a Chromebook for grades 3rd to 12th. Before a student can receive their device the following must occur:
- Student device and accessories issued last school year have been returned.
- Payment received by the district for devices and accessories not returned or equipment that was damaged.
- Completion of SY2020-21 Online Student Registration for new and returning students.
Devices will be distributed in the bus lane of Jemez Valley Elementary/Middle School according to the student's last name as follows: Wednesday, August 5th from 8am to 12 noon for last names starting with A-M; and Thursday, August 6th from 8am to 12noon for last names starting with N-Z. For students from the Pueblo of Jemez or Zia, regardless of residence, a separate robo will be sent with distribution details for the specific Pueblo. The district will provide weekly homework packets for students if requested. Please contact your student's school if you are requesting they receive homework packets or if you have have any questions. For Elementary School call 575-834-7393 ext. 309 or 505-373-0054 ext 309. For Middle and High Schools call 575-834-7392 ext 312 or 505-373-0137 ext 312.
