The Youth Outdoor Education and Bicycle Safety Program is designed for kindergarten through 6th-grade children who reside in the Pueblo of Jemez. The purpose of the program is to instill a lifelong appreciation for the Pueblo of Jemez culture, promote environmental stewardship, and foster a culture of safety and wellness among Tribal youth. Upon completion of the program, each child is eligible to receive a bicycle and helmet and have the opportunity to use their new equipment on guided biking field trips along the Hemish Path to Wellness trail. Join the program to help promote helmet use and bicycle safety within our community! The program will be during the 2025 Summer Recreation Program (June 2 – July 25, 2025).
